Farmers' Market



Haymarket Farmers' Market, Nebraska's largest Market, celebrating 21 years!

In 2007, we expanded another block on 8th Street, approaching 200 vendor stalls during peak season between mid-June to mid-August.

When: May 3 - October 11, 2008. This is now our 22nd year!
Time: Vendor set up between 6:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Customers may peruse the Market and ask vendors to set aside merchandise during set up. No purchases are allowed until Market whistle blows, at 8:00 am.

Market runs from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, rain or shine.

Entertainment schedule is attached. Performers are staged in Iron Horse Park, located at 7th & "Q" Street, and generally attract crowds between 9 am - 11 p.m.

Standard Market Fare:
Baked goods and other yummy stuff: muffins, kolaches, croissants, pies, breads, cookies, cakes, baklava, homemade root beer, egg rolls, crab rangoons, hawaiian desserts, meat kabobs, coffee, teas, hot sauces, seasoning mixes, soup/baked good mixes, kettlecorn, jams, breakfast sandwiches,

Innovative Arts & Crafts:

  • Haymarket Farmers' Market organizers may refuse entry or expel any person, as needed, to maintain a positive and safe event for everyone.
